Thoughts on Condoms, Pregnancy and Gas
So, don't ask why, but my boyfriend and I were at Walmart this evening (I know, I know - evil empire, right)... but we're there anyhow and we're looking around in the pharmacy section and guess what we find?
Long and behold we came across a whole section dedicated to - get this - "Family Planning" items on one end (condoms, lubricant, pregnancy testing kits) and "Laxatives" on the other (gas-relief, constipation, etc). Funniest thing was that they were all in the same aisle on the same side. What were they thinking??
But I suppose it IS Walmart after all; so there wouldn't be any logic to any thing - except I totally think they're trying to discourage folks from having sex. So, not only were the "gas and constipation" pills right next to the condoms, the pregnancy testing kits were prominently displayed on top of the condoms.
Soooo... moral of the story is - if you want to buy condoms at Walmart - beware! And be ready to confront all your fears about getting someone pregnant (or getting pregnant yourself). But if you're just having some stomach issues, then you should be ok. :-)
Happy buying!
